TRAIN

The Safari Express Train is operational

Train tickets can be purchased onsite at any GVZoo admission or retail counter. Trains run as needed up to every 30 minutes. All train tickets are single use, valid for one year from the date of purchase, and are non-refundable.

Train rides are approximately 20 minutes long and tour the perimeter of the zoo. From the train you will have an opportunity to see a number of our animals, from African Lions to Red Pandas, cross the Salmon River on a trestle bridge, and enjoy our park-like setting.

Please be aware that:

• Any riders under the age of 3 are free but must be seated on the lap of an adult.
• All riders under 42” tall, and younger than 7 years old, must be seated beside a parent or guardian.

Train usually operates from 10 AM - 4 PM. Please check the posted train schedule onsite when you visit.
