WINNERS TO BE DRAWN FOR 40th WILD & WONDERFUL YEARS CONTEST AT THE GREATER VANCOUVER ZOO
Aldergrove – It has been a great year at the Greater Vancouver Zoo and we are excited to announce the winners of our 40th Wild & Wonderful Year Contest! Everyone at the zoo would like to thank all of our wonderful supporters who have come to visit and place over 67,000 entries into the packed raffle barrel since the contest started on May 14th of this year. We are pleased to offer “free admission” into the zoo for the draw date – Wednesday November 3rd!
The final day to submit your entry is this Sunday October 31st to be eligible to win these fantastic prizes: 2011 Toyota Camry Hybrid, Alaskan Cruise, trips to Disneyworld, San Diego or Hawaii plus many more….
In addition to the draw, we would also like to honor our most senior animal at the zoo, “Charlie” (our rhinoceros) as he is also celebrating his 40+ years. The combined event will include: a medical check–up with Charlie (including a hoof trim!!) from our Veterinarian, Dr. Bruce Burton, and the opportunity to have your photo taken with Charlie. We will also be sharing information about our other programs such as: adopt an animal, behind the scenes etc.
