SPECIAL NEEDS / SENIOR BUS TOUR POLICY

This policy is for special needs groups or senior groups who experience difficulties walking long distances. Your group(s) will be picked up by our tour bus at the concession area and driven through the North American Wilds Exhibit. The bus tour will conclude at the concession area. The following times and conditions must be adhered to:

AVAILABILITY:

July - August:
Weekdays between 9:30 am and 11:00 am.
Weekdays between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm.

September - February:
Weekdays between 9:30 am and 6:00 pm.

March - June:
Weekdays between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm.

PROCEDURE:

• Bus Tours must be pre-booked 2 weeks prior to requested date.
• Bus Tours must not interfere with School Bookings or Group Bookings on the requested day.
• Cost: $1.00 per person
• A completed registration form, (available on our website, www.gvzoo.com) must be faxed to the attention of: Group Booking Coordinator, fax: 604-856-6857.
• You will receive a confirmation within 2-3 days.
• Only upon receipt of the confirmation form should you assume that your Bus Tour is indeed booked!

SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT!

As your Bus Tour will be within Zoo grounds, safety must come first. Over crowding during the busy season undermines the safety to you, and everyone else on zoo grounds. Wherever possible we will do our best to accommodate everyone in a safe, secure manner.
