DRIVE-THRU POLICY

Drive-Thrus at the Greater Vancouver Zoo are available for special needs groups and/or senior groups who experience difficulties walking long distances. Group(s) will be permitted to drive their own bus, (no more than 33' long), or mini-van through the zoo, providing the following times and conditions are adhered to:

AVAILABILITY:

box image All Drive-Thrus are dependent upon availability.
box image Must pre-book at least 2 weeks in advance of requested drive-thru date.
box image Driver must follow the directions & procedures on our Drive-Thru map.
box image Drive-Thru waiver must be signed prior to entering the zoo.
box image Drive-Thrus are not available during Weekends or Holidays.

September 1st - April 30th   WEEKDAYS ONLY - Please call for availability.
June 1st - August 31st   NOT AVAILABLE
Weekends & Holidays   NOT AVAILABLE


PROCEDURE:

box image Blank registration forms are available at: www.gvzoo.com.
box image Fax your completed Registration Form & Waiver to: Booking Coordinator, Fax: 604-856-6857.
box image Only upon receipt of our Confirmation Form should you assume that your Drive-Thru is booked.
box image Please notify us immediately of any changes.



SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT!

box image Please follow the procedures outlined on our Drive-Thru Map.
box image As your Drive-Thru will be within zoo grounds, safety must always come first.
box image Wherever possible we will do our best to accommodate everyone in a safe, secure manner.
