EXPERIENCE IT YOUR WAY

The Greater Vancouver Zoo has three kilometres of paved pathways and is completely accessible for wheelchairs, bikes, strollers, in-line skates, wagons and the like.

Please ask the front booth admissions staff for further details (limited supplies are available).

*  driver's licence or credit card is required as the deposit and will be returned upon returning the rental.

 

SAFARI GRILL RESTAURANT

Our Safari Grill Restaurant features an assortment of wraps, fresh salads, burgers (including the vegetarian type), hot dogs, fries, popcorn, chips, ice cream, cotton candy, snacks, Seattle coffee, specialized teas, hot chocolate, juice, variety of cold drinks, milk, water and much more!

**Also please note the "small food concession" at the North American section, closes daily by 4 pm in the peak season and does not open in the off season.

 

GIFT SHOP

Our Gift Shop offers a variety of practical items (i.e. film, sunscreen) to make your visit with us more convenient; but we also have inexpensive gifts, toys, informative animal information, toys and a warm, fuzzy selection of stuffed animals to take home as a souvenir.

   
   Quadra-Cycle

**2-Seater Quadra-Cycle Bikes are available to rent at the Gift Shop, for more information please click here.

 

PLAYGROUND

The Zoo has a full-sized playground for children, with a covered lunch area where everyone can gather and share in the fun!

 
Covered gazebos by the playground cannot be reserved and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. 
 

PICNIC AREA

Located across from our Yellow Baboons and by our amazing Lemur Islands, the picnic area (which include covered gazebos in a wonderful park setting) is a popular place for a birthday party, company/BBQ event, group events, family picnic or for a wedding to remember.

 

 

 

Picnic areas can be reserved in sections or as one large area.

Area A = $25.00 Area B = $50.00 Area C = $75.00
A $50.00 deposit is required upon registration
