NORTH AMERICAN WILDS

As of January 1, 2012 we have been making some big changes in the North American section of the zoo. We will no longer have a bus tour through the North American section, as we would like to provide a more natural setting for our guests and also a cleaner environment for both animals and humans alike.

Please come by to visit the new home for our cougars, coyotes and black bears by walking around the new enclosures. The Roosevelt Elk and Plains Bison you may still see by the existing North American Trails and walkways. And of course don't forget to stop by and see Shadow our Grizzly Bear we recently did a major gardening clean-up in her enclosure so you can see her a bit better now, although we still want to keep it as natural as possible.
